* This Barn Paint is a revolutionary product for the protection of exterior wooden, metal and plastic cladded buildings. * It can be applied to previously painted surfaces even if coated in bitumen, tar, varnish, or creosote. * It is tough and flexible, it will flex with the substrate reducing cracking and blistering. * When you use Barn Paint on galvanised steel there is no need to etch or pre-prime. * Rust should be removed and painted with red oxide before applying Barn Paint. * Use on barns, horse boxes, workshops, outbuildings, factories and sheds. * Barn Paint is also highly recommended for farm equipment, tanks, drainpipes, doors, windows and many other items around the garden, farm or factory. * Barn Paint has a theoretical coverage rate of 13-15 m2 per litre. Cost 0.48 pence per m2. * This paint is available in 5/20 litres. * Touch dry after 2 hours and recoatable after 4 hours. * Acrylic Barn Paint has excellent resistance against rain and severe weather. * It also has excellent resistance against rot and algal build-up.

Traditional Jet Black or Brown Creosote for Wooden Barns
* Jet Black or Brown Traditional Creosote containing coal tar. * Since July 2003 it is only available for professional users so if in doubt use Creosote Substitute. * Preservatives are registered with the UK Health & Safety Executive and contain a biocide proven to be effective against certain insects and rotting fungae. * Conforms to BSS 144 Type 3 and renowned for its wide kill spectrum protecting external timbers against insect and fungal attack. * Treatments are not HSE registered but may protect timber in other way using repellant waxes or just primarily to colour and decorate. * Use on Barns, Horse Boxes, Loose Boxes, Out Buildings, Workshops etc. * Professional users should download the MSDS for health and safety advice and for your COSHH records. * Available in 25 litres, Black also available in 200 litre drums. * Due to the cost of crude oil prices for Traditional Creosote have risen sharply in 2008.
