£30.00 (£36.00 Inc VAT)

Traditional Barn Paint is a water based high quality, dead matt paint, designed specifically for the external coating of barns exposed to harsh conditions on a daily basis.

This high performance product is part of The Traditional Paint Company’s Excellent range of Traditional Paints, developed to offer superior protection and fantastic decoration.

The final finish of Traditional Barn Paint is similar to that of a chalkboard with a matt finish suitable for application to a variety of external buildings, including stables, outbuildings, sheds, silos, windmills and barn conversions. This high quality product, can be applied to a range of different surfaces too, including cladding, weatherboard, feather edge board as well as steel and metallic substrates which should first be applied with a suitable oxide primer. When purchasing an external barn paint you need to be sure you are buying a product that will last a long time. By doing this you will save money and time in the long run by extending the life and reducing the costs of maintenance. External paints are constantly exposed to weathering and outdoor conditions which is why the paint you choose needs to be highly protective.

Traditional Barn Paint has been made with natural zinc oxide which is a strong substance, offering long term protection against fungal and insect attack. These kind of attacks can cause damage to the substrate and result in external contamination entering a building. With Traditional Barn Paint you won’t have to worry about that as Zinc Oxide is one of the naturally best killers of most commonly found pesticides.

Unlike other conventional Barn Paints, Traditional Barn Paint will not crack, flake or peel over time when exposed to the natural atmospheric conditions, such as moisture or humidity. It will remain strong over time and bonds especially well to cladding surfaces, with a degree of flexibility that moves with the surface, in harsh conditions.
