Remmers Clean Galena is an emission free cleaning solution for mineral substrates such as limestone.

Remmers Clean Galena is suitable for the cleaning of external mineral surfaces such as limestone, concrete, stone, delicate statues and external stonework. This peel away mask type cleaner is ideal for the reduction of heavy metals, in particular lead, reduction of encrusted dirt and removal of stains caused by iron or copper compounds.

How To Use

Ensure the substrate is stable and free from dust. Do not use on hot surfaces. Use a suitable tool to coarsely clean the substrate. Set up a trial area to determine the cleaning effect. Take appropriate measures to protect adjacent building components and materials that should not come into contact with the product.

Stir thoroughly and apply over the entire surface of the substrate using a suitable tool. Fill undercut areas and contours thoroughly with the material. Once completely dry (usually 24 hours after application), remove the film by carefully detaching using a spatula. After removing the skin, clean the treated surface with fresh water starting from the highest point.

Further cleaning procedures might be necessary, depending on the degree of contamination and the substrate. Therefore, if needed, repeat the application.
